Politics in all its shapes and forms is a miserable affair. No matter how perceivably impeccable a political system may be brought into light, the very thought of delegating the administration of the society to a select few, determining the criteria for this selection and keeping a check on the powerful elite has always been the primary dilemma. Never have any checks and regulations have ever been able to ameliorate the consequential deterioration of the state of the welfare of the human society.

A plethora of ideologies, whether painted as Divine or wrapped in the flag of nationalist fascism, have fallen to their share of decadence in human history. People have suffered trusting one leader after another as mankind has fallen prey to the lusty deceptions of ones of its own kind. Democracies have turned into the rule of the wealthy and influential, while Socialism has been defaced into fascist and totalitarian regimes like Stalinism and Maoism, the atrocities of which even surpass the medieval horrors, while the concept of nation states was responsible for events like the Yugoslav Succession Wars. Where there are electoral systems, people seldom take their votes seriously.

In the current political scenario of the world, these models are emerging to dominate the future of global politics.

1. Anarchism, both in its constructive form, such as internet, and destructive form, such as terrorism.

2. Democracy with the participation of the people, both in its constructive form, such as in Latin American nations, and in its destructive form, such as mob rules.

3. People in may countries, mostly Western, who will be disillusioned and largely uninterested in politics, will delegate the power to a number of oligarchies in return of material benefit and personal security, resulting in a consequent collapse of their authority comprehensively.
